A busy art lesson can soon fill every spare table with wet paintings. This 25-shelf mobile art drying rack gives each piece a separate place to dry, keeping fresh work organised and away from other sheets. The open wire shelves have 30 mm spacing, allowing air to circulate around the artwork and support efficient drying.
The blue, powder-coated metal frame is made for regular use and is easy to wipe clean. Four swivel castors make the art drying rack easy to move between work and storage areas. Two of the castors have brakes, helping the rack stay in place while artwork is loaded or removed.

This mobile art drying rack provides 25 separate wire shelves in one compact unit, giving paintings and drawings a clear place to dry while work surfaces remain available for everyday use. The rack is designed for schools, nurseries, art clubs and other spaces where several paper-based projects may need to dry at the same time. It has a blue powder-coated metal frame, open shelves and four swivel castors, so it can be brought to the work area when it is needed.
Placing wet paintings directly on top of one another can transfer colour and damage the finished work. Leaving them across desks or floors takes up space and makes the room harder to organise. This 25-shelf art drying rack keeps projects on separate levels, reducing contact between sheets while they dry.
Twenty-five shelf positions are especially useful after a group activity, when work from several people needs to be set aside at once. Each project can go onto a wire shelf instead of being spread around the room. Once the paint is dry, the sheets can be removed and the classroom drying rack is ready for the next group.
The shelves have an open wire construction. Air can reach the underside of the paper as well as the exposed surface, helping moisture evaporate more efficiently than it would from artwork left flat on a solid table. A 30 mm gap between shelf levels maintains separation and allows air to move around thin, paper-based projects.
Four swivel castors allow the rack to turn and move in different directions. Staff can position it close to the activity table while work is being collected, then move it to a suitable drying area. This flexibility is helpful in rooms where furniture is rearranged between lessons or where one art drying rack serves more than one work area.
Two of the 50 mm castors are fitted with brakes. Applying the brakes helps the mobile art drying rack remain in position while paintings are placed onto the shelves or taken out. The brakes are also useful when the rack has been moved to its normal location and needs to stay there until the work is dry.
The metal frame of the paint drying rack has a blue powder-coated finish. Paint marks and dust can be wiped from the frame as needed with a suitable cloth, making routine care simple between projects. The wire shelves keep projects separate without closing off the underside, so air can still reach the paper from below.
